Summer Color Lingers Here

Though the temperature and humidity have certainly dropped here along the river, it still feels like summer to me.  Unlike at the cabin, many flowers are still blooming; I had almost forgotten that Florida doesn't really have obvious, clearly defined seasons.  Yes, it is true that one notices the changes as summer evolves into fall, but the changes are very subtle.  So I am enjoying the delightful array of flowers before me!

I don't have my floral identification books here, so I am guessing on a couple of these...any corrections or updates are welcome!

It's interesting that the colors of the flowers are all in the red/purple hue...
