A World of Difference

A week ago today, I was at the Palm Beach International Polo Club with Liam and Jessi, enjoying the match and the beautiful surroundings.  It was something quite different for us; Jessi was able to get us tickets (with her beautiful smile, shining eyes and charm...well it was her dad she charmed, but still, she got us tickets), so we ventured into the world of the rich and famous!  The women were dressed to the nines with sundresses, heels and hats; men in their white pants, polo tops and sports jackets.  The horses were gorgeously groomed and trotted with pride.  For me, it was like being in another world, but I sure would do it again (though this time I would dress for the occasion)!

Today, I'm in the mountains with Johny, tossing straw onto the garden and piling small branches for mulching.

I laughed to myself at the thought of it...such a difference in both the scenery, the activity and oh my gosh the dress!  And you know what?  While I enjoyed stepping into the world of Polo, I am at home in my mountains.

This is what makes the world go round; our differences make us the same!

Thanks for reading my blog, you are the best f/f/r/s/f's, see you tomorrow,
Lise
