Lying In Wait

I'm getting the evil eye...
...you see, Fluffy is mostly an indoor cat.  But we let her out now and again...you know, she needs fresh air, sunshine & exercise too!  We've always watched her closely as she hung around the bird feeders, stalking the little innocents chowing on seeds.  But now Fluffy is getting dangerously (for the birds) smarter.  She's figured out that there are some birds who peck at the ground in search of their grub near the ramp leading to the porch.  And if she conceals herself on the steps under that very ramp, her ability to execute a surprise attack is greatly enhanced.  When I tried to get her to move out from there, this is the look I got.  I have always considered Fluffy a clever cat and love her affectionate nature.  Now I know she's a huntress, lying in wait.  Time for a leash?

Thanks for reading my blog, you are the best f/f/r/s/f's, see you tomorrow,
Lise

She is a pretty cat...reminds me of Elvis, my daughter's cat. Her two never go out, but I know what you mean about wishing they could get some fresh air and sunshine and exercise. Looks like your sweetie's feral inner instincts may make her a good candidate for a leash, though! :-) MY, what a look!

Dad, she's gone on the deck, but seems less excited about being there...probably because it's too high off the ground for a good view of the birds! Hugs back:)

I agree Marie, I think a leash is a good idea!
