Liam's Birthday, Canoe Ride & Train Building

Liam had a big water slide for his birthday party, and he and all his friends (and some family, including adults) enjoyed it all afternoon. It was a great day, and the birthday boy was exhausted by the time it was all over!

Today we (my daughters Erin & Jessi and of course Liam) went kayaking on the Loxahatchee River, it was beautiful, peaceful and lots of fun.

Erin, Liam & I shared a canoe...
Jessi had her own kayak...
...resting spot; the current was swift today and it was quite warm...
...we saw lots of bats nesting under a bridge, it was really cool...you have to look closely to see them...
...we also saw a Peacock pair; you can see the male in the front and the female is to the left of the sign...
While Liam and I were waiting for Erin & Jessi to come with the car after loading the kayak, he told me all about his favorite birthday presents, his words, not mine...his $5 bill, his lunch box and Spiderman and his little game (a hand held toy)...

We ended our day today building a toy train that I got for him...he is quite the builder!

Very focused!

Finished!

It's been a great visit, I hate to see it come to a close.  I will miss my girls, my friends & family in this area, and Liam.  He keeps the child in me young and alive!

Thanks for reading my blog, you are the best f/f/r/s/f's, see you tomorrow,
Lise
