A Break From Winter

Decisions, decisions...you know how I love snow.  Yesterday I debated heading back to the cabin sooner than planned because of a big snow that's expected, starting today and predicted to continue through Thursday morning...it might be the biggest snow event of the year...but since my travel route would require driving through lots of rain/sleet/snow, I decided to stay here on the river...better safe than sorry.  I'm not complaining...though I will miss watching the snow fall...it's warm and sunny here, something lots of people are craving right now.  This post is dedicated to all you you who've had enough of winter...maybe these pictures will help "take you away"...

Yesterday's sunrise....

 ...this morning...

...are you feeling the warmth yet?

Thanks for reading my blog, you are the best f/f/r/s/f's, see you tomorrow,
Lise

Not a bad choice, sun and fun. We had one day of snow. Well, more like one night of snow and then one morning of rain to melt it. But the frigid temps had made the roads icy and dangerous to drive. This morning on the way to the ferry there were two wrecks. - Margy

Good decision. I'm loving your photographs as I look out at the snow here.

I'm glad you've gotten some snow Margy, I know you've been lacking in the white stuff...

Me too dad, hugs back!

It is a good diversion NCmountainwoman, though I do long for the look of snow. I feel blessed I get to experience such diverse living environments!

Gorgeous photos! Wow...so beautiful! You were right to stay there instead of traveling through the bad weather, too.
