8 Months...& Let It Snow!

We've been here 8 months and continue to enjoy our simplified life; there is nothing like the tranquility of the woods and mountains!  I do realize I have not been posting the details of our activities as I have in the past, but I do believe this has something to do with the change from summer to fall to what should be winter.  Though I can't put my finger on it specifically, I must admit that things have slowed down.  So what I have to write about is, well, simpler.

Truth be told, I would much prefer to have some snow right 'bout now!  I'm finding myself extremely disappointed that the temps are in the mid 60's and there is no chill in the air.  I know most of the long time residents would disagree with me, in fact, I know this to be true, as they have told me so.  If there is any possibility of my influencing the Universe...

LET IT SNOW!

Think it with me now...LET IT SNOW HERE AT LISE'S LOG CABIN...this is for those of you who wish no kind of snow or cold or cool or less than 70 degrees...

Thanks for reading my blog, you are the best f/f/r/s/f's, see you tomorrow,
Lise

I will agree with you, LET IT SNOW. Sunday it was 70+, we had windows open. the blacksmith split some wood and finally came on the deck, took his shirt off to cool off!

10 day forecast does tease snow flurries one day.

Thanks Mamabug, I appreciate every thought of snow! remember when it snowed in Fl back in '78 or some time around there?

Patti, our 10n day forecast is not promising at all...that's why I'll keep clicking my heels together and repeating "let it snow...let it snow...let it snow..."!
