Good Day Sunshine

One of the things I love about waking up on the river is watching the sunrise.  It is a peaceful time when the world is awakening.  I am a morning person, so maybe that is the underlying reason why I am so eager to get up early and watch it all happen.

This morning was exceptional...

...I love that moment when the sun peaks over the horizon!

I am glad I had such a tranquil beginning to my day, because I have found that time has seemed to stand still since then.  I've been digging deep to tap into a particular virtue that would help make today so much easier...patience, but it eludes me.  Liam and the girls will be arriving this evening, but I tell you it feels like sunset will never get here!  Believe me, I have filled my time with as many distractions and activities that I could, and yet it seems that the day just keeps getting longer (which is in fact the case, being that the winter solstice has passed and now the days are getting longer again)!

You can be sure you will be hearing all about our visit together.  In the meantime, I believe I will go see if the river can offer some support...I saw flocks of ducks leisurely floating on the river when I drove by after taking care of some errands earlier...perhaps I can learn a bit by watching them!

Thanks for reading my blog, you are the best f/f/r/s/f's, see you tomorrow,
Lise
