Daylight Savings Time + Family Reunion

I am not a lover of daylight savings time (DST)...I don't appreciate the loss of an hour (even though you can say we gain it back in the fall)...and it contradicts my internal clock that says the dark should start around the end-of-the-day meal time, (dinner/supper, depending on where you are from), and the sun should rise when it's time to get up (all this relative to the time of year, but I think you know what I mean).

I say all this because the clock moving forward an hour has totally messed up my scheduling for today.  And I know I told you I would tell you all about our reunion, which continued to be fabulous today, but I really have run out of time (and the energy) to share everything I want to share in a fare way.  Frankly, I haven't even looked at all my pictures yet!  So I beg your patience for one more day, as I do want to share the good times.  In the meantime, we spied this beautiful Heron on our canoe trip yesterday (more to come on that), so I thought I'd tickle your interest with it.

I will also share this little tidbit...vehicular travel was not our friend this weekend.  1. The car Erin/Jessi/Liam were traveling in overheated and that created some distraction and therefore less quality time together yesterday.  2. Johny and I encountered ugly traffic both on the way to my dad's and then a real mess on our way back to the river...this compounded the DST issue, and it is now near 8pm before I can get anything out to you.  Thanks for your patience, I do have fun to share!

Thanks for reading my blog, you are the best f/f/r/s/f's, see you tomorrow,
Lise
