A New Design On My Orange Marmalade Cake with Chocolate Ganache

A few days ago I made a scrumptious Orange Marmalade Cake with Chocolate Ganache. It was so good I'm making it again today to bring to a friend's for dinner. I did one thing differently--I added a little melted white chocolate to the top and made a pretty design. You can do this!
Directions:
Make your cake following this recipe.

Melt the white chocolate in the microwave. You're not making ganache, this is pure melted white chocolate (be sure not to heat it too long, it will seize up on you.) Pour it in a circular motion over the chocolate ganache. You could use a baggie to make a piping bag, but I just use a spoon to drizzle the chocolate in rings--it creates some interesting squiggly's.

Run a dry knife warmed with hot water in opposing directions. You can see my first pull in the photo above.

After just a little effort you get this pretty design. Looks fancy!

Thanks for reading my blog, you are the best f/f/r/s/f's, see you tomorrow,
Lise

Patti, it was pretty, but it's gone now! I'm happy to say everyone gobbled it up:)

It's good dad, I wish I had time to make one while I'm down visiting. Hugs back
