Springylicious

It is incredibly luscious to see all the different colors, shapes and textures of the wide variety of flora that covers the mountains upon which we live.  Each day as I walk about, whether to the mailbox, a neighbor's, hunting for wild edibles, or just around our property, I am pleasantly surprised by the incredible beauty of the fully blooming trees that explode in front of me as I round a bend.  I am even more amazed at the wide variety of small and subtle individual blooms, standing proudly as one though sometimes found in groupings, that I encounter in the most unexpected places.  I often spot them at the last minute, almost hiccuping in my step as to not crush their beauty.

I dedicate today's post to honoring that beauty and the pure joy I experience in the simplicity of nature's pure elegance.

I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them and trying to capture the sumptuous, fundamental, artistry of what the universe has to offer. No editing, no Photoshop, just moments I captured in real time.
