Ice Sculptures

These dramatic ice sculptures were created along our creek during the sub-zero temperatures we recently experienced.  Alas, everything is melting, and if we're lucky we won't see frigid cold like that again, but I sure do love how nature creates art as a result...

Your pictures are beautiful. Great works God created.

Have you ever seen an ice flower in your woods. of course it's a little too late for those now.

Keep warm!

We've warmed up now dad, no more ice and it's almost 50! Hugs back

I've never seen an ice flower Patti, it's too bad because it would have been a perfect compliment to my flowering tea post, LOL!

Thanks Mamabug, winter's now and ice does provide for a beautiful landscape :)

They are beautiful. I like the way they are molded by the water and elements. We saw some frozen puddles the same day we discovered the Frost Beards. - Margy
